How long can we enjoy our picnic?

Proper Picnic allots two hours for your experience. More time is available for an additional hourly charge.

What if we cannot stay for the full two hours?

If you do not require the entire two hours allotted for your experience, we ask that you notify us via phone call or text message a minimum of thirty minutes before your departure. We ask that you do not leave our setup before our team’s arrival;  you will be responsible for the event supplies and décor until then.

Where can I have my picnic?

You can choose a spot or Proper Picnics can help you choose the perfect location.

Can my picnic only include styling without a graze board?  

Yes, you can request a style only event, you can still bring your own food. 

Can I just order a graze board?

Yes. Proper Picnics can arrange pick up or delivery for your custom selected graze board. Prices vary upon party size, complete our RESERVE NOW form to place your order. There is a $20 delivery charge applied to all graze boards if they are not picked up at our office.

What if there is poor weather on the day of my scheduled event?

In the event of bad weather, Proper Picnics will work with you to reschedule another date for you to enjoy your experience. Alternatively, you may consider an indoor option on the originally scheduled day of your experience. Should you cancel your event more than 78 hours prior (due to weather), we can apply your deposit towards your scheduled event within one year. Proper Picnics is also happy to move your picnic indoors if weather does not permit your outdoor experience on your selected date.

How do I pay for my experience?

50% at time of booking with remaining 50% due 48 hours prior to event

What is your cancellation policy?

Proper Picnics requires a non-refundable 50% deposit once your experience date is reserved. We understand that you may be required to cancel your experience. In that event, we would be happy to transfer your non-refundable deposit towards a future event. Any cancellations made thirty days (or more) in advance entitles you to 25% of your non-refundable deposit back.

What if my picnic is outside of Windsor?

Proper Picnics includes delivery and styling within the Windsor region of up to 20km. An additional and flexible fee will be incurred for styling outside of this radius.  

How many guests can Proper Picnics accommodate at one picnic?

Proper Picnics hosts large scale events up to 40 guests. Special pricing is available on request.

Can I keep the fresh floral display?

All floral displays are rental displays only, unless otherwise discussed prior with Proper Picnics.
